Matam Park, located at the southern entrance to Haifa, is the largest and oldest hi-tech and businesspark in Israel. Matam Park is a closed campus, covering an area of approximately 220,000 square meters with about 10,000 employees. The Park includes buildings covering an area of approximately 270,000 square meters which are rented out to about 50 leading hi-tech companies such as Intel, Elbit Systems, Microsoft, Philips, CSR, Google, Yahoo, Apple, Pluristem etc.

Matam Company is a partnership of Gav-Yam, of Property & Building IDB Group (50.1%), who manages the Matam Company, and Haifa Economic Corporation (49.9%), which is owned by Haifa Municipality.
The main activities of the company are:
- Ownership of the Matam Business Park.
- Solution provisions, include managerial and maintenance services - through Shatam Company, which is managed by Matam Company and the occupants of Matam Park.
- Tailor-made building for long term rental. For example, IBM World Research Center, which is the largest center of IBM outside of the USA. The building is located in the campus of the University of Haifa, with a unique design. Elbit Systems building, Philips Medical building, Zim - Ofer building, CSR (Zoran) - in Matam Park.
- The operating of the International Convention Center in Haifa (ICC)
Matam Company is controlled and managed by Gav-Yam Company, a public, financially well-established company quoted on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. Gav-Yam is one of the oldest and largest real-estate companies in Israel, a subsidiary of Property and Building IDB Group. Gav-Yam is responsible for initiation, planning, erection and management of sophisticated and other industrial parks, commerce and offices, logistic centers and residential neighborhoods
